Today in Ms. Truby's class the morning was the usual, but the afternoon was out of the ordinary. First we did morning work which was February Fun (I seriously do not know why they called it fun because it was not fun at all). Next we went to a community meeting in the Forum about a project of recycling old trophies for the Special Olympics, and our teacher picked two people from each class to speak at a pep assembly at the end of the day. Then we did our spelling test, which wasn't that hard for most of us. Then we went to band/study hall. I play the trombone, and the whole band time I was playing it for a half hour and my lips felt weird. Then we had lunch which was spaghetti and meat balls. The meatballs weren't really meatballs, but leftover meatloaf that was crumbled up. After lunch, we did DOL which stands for Daily Oral Language. After that, we went to the computer lab to do Animoto which is a website that you take picture from your files and put it on there for a slide show for 30 seconds. We had to skip Spanish which stank because Spanish is my favorite subject since we got a new Spanish teacher. We had to skip Spanish because we had to go to a pep assembly. We didn't have time to do our agenda.
